Additionally, its voluntary neighborhood association brings neighbors together with annual events and monthly socials. “North City has a lot to offer, including an excellent school district and wonderful parks. Single and multi-family properties with a central location

Homes in North City are lined along semi-gridded residential streets and surrounded by thick trees. Traditional single-story cottages and mid-century ranch-style homes built between the 1940s and 1950s are common in the neighborhood. These properties span 1,000 to 3,000 square feet and cost between $650,000 and $1 million. There are also traditional multi-story homes and bi-levels for similar prices that can get up to 2,500 square feet. Some of these houses were built in the 1980s and have Craftsman-inspired architecture. “It’s a little bit on the higher end here, since we’re minutes from Lake Washington and Puget Sound,” Moffatt says. Additionally, North City has a handful of attached, multi-story townhouses and contemporary condo communities from the 1970s and 2000s. Most of these units span 700 to 1,500 square feet and cost $250,000 to $575,000, depending on number of bedrooms. “There are a lot of new apartment buildings popping up in the area because of the light rail,” Moffatt continues.
