"Locals come during their lunch breaks to walk their dogs or just to stroll and get some exercise."

New facilities at Springfield High
Students can begin their education at Butler Elementary School, which has a B-minus on Niche, before attending Benjamin Franklin Middle School, which has a B. Older students can enroll at Springfield High School, which has an A and is working on extensive renovations. "We broke ground this summer on an extension renovation project," says Lisa Leardi, principal of Springfield High School. "It will be the new chapter of SHS history by adding a new competition-style gymnasium, enhanced classroom spaces, a redesigned library, and many other building-wide improvements." Those interested in private education can consider Our Savior's Lutheran School, which serves prekindergarten through eighth grade and scores an A with Niche. "We only have one class per grade," says Carmen Yagow, Our Savior's principal. "It fosters a very close-knit group among students and teachers."
