Located 30 miles from Phoenix in Surprise, Arizona, Happy Trails is a 55+ community where joy is contagious. “It’s Happy Trails for a reason, and our residents love living here,” says Sharon Dickies, Office Administrator at Happy Trails Resort. “Our residents are retired, but they’re certainly active, and there’s something happening every day.” Events include pickleball tournaments, bingo, and even a farmers' market each Friday in the fall and winter. Happy Trails Resort was opened in 1985 and has been a haven for retirees since. This gated community has security on staff 24 hours a day to ensure safety.
