Avis Wukasch is a Texas real estate broker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is the broker for Keller Williams Realty in Round Rock and Georgetown, Texas. She has been in this role since April 2001. Avis served as the Governor’s appointee as the Chairman for the Texas Real Estate Commission from 2011 to May 2019, prior to that she served as Vice Chairman of the Commission for two years and served one year as a Commissioner. She also served the Texas Real Estate Commission on the Broker Lawyer Committee from 2001 to 2005 and was Chairman of the Board for the Texas Association of Realtors in 2007.
Committed to empowering Texas realtors across the state, Avis has served on and chaired various local realtor associations, the National Association of Realtors, and Texas Association of Realtors committees, task forces, and management teams throughout her long career. Avis has been on the team developing TREC non-elective courses for many years and teaches the Train the Trainer courses sponsored by The Real Estate Center at TAMU.
A native Texan, Avis earned a B.S. in political science from the University of Texas - Austin. Her legacy is steeped in the real estate industry. Her father’s more than 50-year career as a broker spurred Avis and her siblings to enter the business. Avis is also married to a real estate broker. Her mission is to honor God and her parents by making a difference in the lives of others and being the best grandmother to four “off the chart” little people.
