A friend of mine referred me to She Moves Philly, and I can't imagine going through the home buying process without them. The amazing Jen Toadvine was my realtor, and from the time we had our first introductory call to when I moved into my new home, she held my hand the entire time. Jen was insanely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, supportive, and was always responsive when I asked her my 100+ questions (which I still do - sorry, Jen!).
I went into the process with 0 prior knowledge, and as a buyer on the younger side, I never felt pressured to make an offer or make any compromises in what I was looking for. Jen made everything tremendously easy by working directly with my loan agent and other key players. Thanks to Jen and the team, I only had to look for houses for about a week, and the first offer I made on a home was accepted. Monica is an incredibly competent realtor and a genuinely nice person. Despite being a clueless first-timer with next to no knowledge of the process and practicalities, I was able to close on a gorgeous West Philly rowhome in just over a month with Monica's guidance.
Encyclopedic knowledge of the Philadelphia area aside, Monica is remarkably structure-savvy and was able to point out recent repairs, barely-visible red flags, and necessary fixes. I had my heart set on a 1920's house, and Monica calmly and cannily steered me away from multiple very beautiful, structurally doomed houses.
While the seller proposed crediting me for the necessary repairs, Monica was able to negotiate the repairs fully into the sale. They were all completed by the time my roommate and I moved in.
Above all, though, Monica is warm, down-to-earth, engaged, and really went out of their way to put me as a jumpy first-timer at ease. I had a wonderful experience buying my house with their help, and cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Monica.

We are first time homebuyers and felt daunted by the process to say the least. The She Moves Philly teams helped us sell our house in January of 2021. This was the first home sale process we had ever gone through. We were a little apprehensive about selling our home in the midst of a pandemic and on top of that had just welcomed newborn twins into our family. The She Moves Philly team could not have been more responsive to all of our questions. They provided very insightful knowledge and gave pointed directions on what to rearrange in our home to make sure we were able to get the most value. During the open house, they ensured that our home was kept tidy and always had a representative from the team available for questions from potential buyers. We had 8 offers over asking after the open house! They provided us with wonderful guidance throughout that process, requiring very little effort to be done on our end.

In turn, the team helped us to purchase our second home. We put in many offers and they were so patient and understanding. During a crazy buying market we were always able to get in to see any home we hoped to, and with their strong relationships with other relators they were always able to keep us competitive! Brittany and the team at She Moves Philly are rock stars. We evaluated several realtors, and went with Brittany for her thoughtful and caring partnership style, expertise in the greater Philly market, and extensive network of vendors (inspection, title, HVAC, roofing, electricians, anything else you can think of…). In a matter of 3-4 weeks, they shared 200+ homes, of which we saw probably 10-15 per week - a potential logistical nightmare but the team scheduled it with no issues, and there was always a team member there early to show us the houses and make sure we hit all our scheduled appointments on time. Brittany then coached us through the projects / maintenance that we'd need to invest in each house, to help us dial in our bid. She coached us through the process of bidding so that we had strong bids and eventually got our ideal home, despite the crazy market. It's an intense process for buyers these days, but Brittany knows her stuff, and made sure we were successful. Would absolutely recommend Brittany and the She Moves Philly team to anyone buying a home in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Brittany, Britt, Monica, and Joelle were all instrumental in finding my girlfriend and I the perfect home.
