As first-time home buyers, we couldn't have worked with a better realtor! We're fairly new to Seattle, so we really relied on Carmen's knowledge of the area to help us narrow down where we wanted to be, and she was so patient in helping us understand the whole process. Then, when we found our house, she was just as excited as we were, and fought for us every step of the way. We couldn't have done it without her!

Carmen Gayton is a true professional. Her ability to navigate and walk me through the home buying process was truly impressive. Everything was made easy to understand but detailed enough for me to walk away with a high level of knowledge. She was easily accessible for questions and concerns as well. Carmen was a wonderful Realtor! My fiancé and I were new to Seattle and could not have had a better experience. Carmen was very professional, patient and knowledgeable as we searched for our new home. Carmen is a phenomenal Real Estate Professional. She guided, schooled, assisted and nurtured me through the entire process of finding and buying a home. Even more, with me coming from the east coast with only the desire to live in the emerald state; having very little information about Washington State, its geography and real estate market, Carmen managed to, in eight days during my stay, injected all of the necessary information to help me to he find, offer and finally purchase my new home. I came to Washington in December with modest goals. I only wanted to learn the lay of the land in order to return and begin my search. We had a lovely experience working with Carmen to finalize our first home in the Seattle area. Me and my wife started our research in January 2020 and with the help of Carmen were able to finalize our choice by March 2020. We selected a new construction which could only be closed by December 2020. Carmen was an excellent and patient guide whether it was about overall understanding of Seattle housing market, financials, closing process, what kind of homes to look for, what to avoid and finally how to negotiate a good deal. She has been extremely understanding and responsive throughout our 1 year closing process and we couldn't be happier. Carmen was my real estate agent who ushered me though my first home-buying experience. As you can imagine, I was overcautious. However, Carmen kept me at ease. She got a firm grasp of my home buying criteria at the onset. Then kept a steady stream of options to select from in front of me until we found a great fit. In fact, during my process, Carmen had a family emergency to tend to. Despite all she was dealing with, Carmen made sure I was taken care of in the meantime, always checking in. Ultimately, not only did she help me identify and buy a great home, Carmen shared tons of life wisdom; she even connected me with my current financial adviser. We purchased our first home with Carmen 6 years ago from another state. She went above and beyond to accommodate the few weekends we had available to come here and look for homes. Our first home buying experience was made so much more stress free due to Carmen. She found us our first beautiful home. Now almost six years later we were ready to find a new home. Carmen did a fantastic job in helping my wife and I find our first home in July 2019. She did a great job explaining the process to us as first-time home buyers and had great connections with lenders, which made it easy for us to get pre-approved and obtain the best interest rate available. She was honest in her dealings with us and the sellers. She never set unreasonable expectations and she helped us understand the risks involved in various stages of the negotiating process. She had great recommendations for other related professionals such as the home inspector. She worked hard on our behalf all the way through the final stages, including helping us put our offer together even while she was on a vacation in Mexico. I have already referred my lifelong best friend to Carmen to buy his first house and will continue to confidently recommend her to others!
