David Marks

David Marks can almost be called a Seattle native, first arriving in the great Northwest at the age of 10. After growing up and attending elementary and high school in Steilacoom and Lakewood, David attended the University of Washington and graduated with a BA in Marketing and Finance.

First and foremost, David is a business professional, with experience starting and operating businesses ranging from wine importing and distribution to property management and software consulting. This varied history has given him valuable experience in negotiation strategy, sales, marketing, and in managing complex transactions.

David first obtained his real estate license in 1989, founding and operating a successful property management and brokerage company for 11 years. This past experience gave David a deep knowledge base in real estate, including construction, property maintenance, and real estate financing.

David realizes that consumers have many options when it comes to selecting a real estate professional to assist them with selling or buying a home or investment property. He understands the 24/7 nature of the market, the importance of clear communication with his clients, and close monitoring of every transaction, big or small.

David and his wife Julia live in the NE Seattle neighborhood of Maple Leaf with their daughter Ella, and an oversized Norwegian Forest cat, Maddie.
