About Katie
Very few endeavors are as nerve-racking and time-consuming as making moves in the New York City real estate market. Katie Feola understands just how stressful real estate decisions in both Manhattan and Brooklyn can be. She also knows that it can be a fun undertaking if you enlist the right person to help streamline the process and guide you through the chaos.
A native New Yorker, Katie graduated from New York Law School where she earned a Juris Doctor and gained a strong background in property and contract law. She is a member of both the New York and New Jersey state bars. Katie also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Vassar College. Currently, Katie serves as the Annual Fund Chair for her Vassar class, spearheading fundraising efforts and connecting with classmates to help give back to their school.
Katie has lived in Park Slope for seven years but carries with her substantial knowledge of neighborhoods throughout both Brooklyn and Manhattan gained from growing up in New York City. She aims to assist clients of all types and financial levels to determine their living needs, locate the right neighborhood, and find a residence they will look forward to coming home to every day. Whether Katie is working with buyers, sellers, or renters, she will guide clients through each step of the process, from negotiating a fair deal to helping them to clearly understand all of the paperwork they will be confronted with along the way.
Prior to joining Corcoran, Katie worked as a journalist reporting on corporate media news and appearing on CNBC as a commentator discussing business issues in the media sector. Her articles have been picked up by various news outlets including Reuters, Yahoo! News, and the Village Voice. Katie brings the assets required of a news reporter to her real estate career – efficiency, strong communication skills, keen intuition, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to be creative under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Previously, Katie held positions in the legal sphere in both transactional and litigation practice.
When not hard at work, Katie enjoys throwing her hat in the ring at local amateur cooking competitions. She has won first place in both the Brooklyn Chili Takedown and the Chile & Chocolate Takedown at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s annual Chile Pepper Fiesta. Her original recipes have been covered by the New York Post, Time Out New York, and the New York Daily News.
