About Libby

Libby Clarke, founding partner of the JLC Team, started her real estate career in 2004 helping clients purchase and sell real estate in Washington, DC. With annual sales volume of over $20 million annually, she and her team are consistently recognized as top residential real estate providers. Libby graduated from St. Mary's College of California with a degree in communications and subsequently launched her career with a position in the Senate Finance Committee. During her career, she has worked in fundraising, special event planning, management, and project management with several non-profit organizations. Her former work experience has greatly enhanced her ability to be detail oriented while still seeing the larger picture, be a master logistician, and fierce negotiator which has served a vast group of buyers and sellers since 2004.

Libby loves meeting new people and truly enjoys helping them navigate the real estate process -- whether it is buying a new home or selling one they have lived in for 40 years. Throughout her career in real estate, Libby has combined her ability to build relationships and sharp business acumen to provide her clients with a high level, responsive, and friendly service so that they can achieve their goals. Libby grew up in Denver, Colorado along with her ten brothers and sisters and has lived with her husband on Capitol Hill since 1988. She raised four daughters living and working in DC and greatly enjoys being a part of the community as active volunteer and neighbor. Libby loves this city and is excited to share her knowledge with you.
