Owning a real property in Bay Area is one of our biggest investments. Selling for the highest possible price would be every seller’s goal. I took my time to do my homework in interviewing agents since the agent who represents me needs to be capable enough to help me achieving that goal. I am here writing to express my gratitude and appreciation to Mattie Wei and her team.
Mattie leads a very professional real estate sales team which consists of four capable & highly skillful team members.

What impressed me the most is that they know exactly what to take to sell a home from A to Z. They have solutions for each scenario. From the initial listing consultation, to creat a customized selling plan with a concrete schedule, to suggestions of renovation need (simple improvement in my case), to even supervising the repair and remodeling process, they just made everything so simple and easy for me. I don’t even have to do anything but placing my trust to Mattie!
Most amazingly, Mattie’s top nudge negotiation skill blew my mind. I don’t know how she did it, but she can make an ordinary buyer’s offer into a great offer favoring my side. That’s for sure!

Working with Mattie was a truly remarkable experience for me!
Knowing Mattie was through a friend of mine who I have known for years and someone I trust a lot. When I looked for a good agent to sell my investment home, my friend strongly recommended Mattie and said I wouldn’t go wrong. I’ve never sold a home in the past. I didn’t know what attributes to look for from a real estate agent.
Although after talking to Mattie, I felt very comfortable and confident she could do a good job in selling my home, still I interviewed 3 other local top agents as comparison. Just wanted to have a peace of mind. After all the interviews, it came to me very obvious: from all the perspectives of knowledge about the market, experience in dealing all tough situations, skills representing sellers and even team scales, Mattie and her team stood out the most!
Our local market started showing the slow sign due to increasing interest rates, the war, plus the bad stock market performance…..
As a result of all above factors, we didn’t receive many offers as expected at offer due day; however, I don’t know how Mattie did it. She delivered an amazing result! To me she worked a miracle in selling our home for a over-the-roof price. Till now, I am still under the shock of her selling skills…..But it is a good shock!:-) I don’t know how. The end result was the sold price was way exceeding my expectations. Btw, this was the top reason I selected to work with Mattie too. None of the agents I interviewed had shown the confidence to ensure me a very high selling price, EXCEPT HER!

Mattie and her team have been an absolute pleasure to work with for helping us buy our home. Mattie leveraged her almost 2 decades of experience to extract information from the seller's agent and recommended us an offer price based on better appraisal chances and FMV, and asked us to trust her in the process. We put in that trust, and ended up beating 20+ offers on the home to get it! This was also our first (and only) offer. We were actually willing to pay more, but following Mattie's suggestion saved us ~30K dollars! It was just amazing.

This is a really interesting incidence that shows Mattie cares for her customers. After we got our home title officially, Mattie helped us get a locksmith to urgently (next-day service) rekey our door locks due to the seller's agent misplacing a copy of the original home key. We did run into some scheduling issue here, where Mattie's team scheduled an appointment for us at 9am the next day but the locksmith the next day said there was no such appointment in there system. This was most likely an issue in the locksmiths system. However, this was extremely stressful for us as we had traveled ~75 minutes to get to the new home, and had to get back to continue our work day. The locksmith finally came at ~10.45am and further discovered that some of the locks were broken. Mattie was generous to cover for the broken locks and labor (in addition to rekey) even when she was supposed to cover for just the rekey. Thank you Mattie, we deeply appreciate this gesture of yours.

Mattie's extended team for loan approval processing was also very responsive and on top of everything. They were particularly accommodating of our time constraints (as we work during the day, we would have availability mostly during late evenings/night time). Our approval process was very smooth, and we closed in exactly 30 days. Additionally, Mattie also made it a point to let us know of employee discounts with certain banks, and this further helped me get the best interest rates possible.

Finally, Mattie and her team are also helping us with renting out our previous home, and that is going very smoothly as well.

If you are reading this, I whole heartedly recommend Mattie and her team for your home buying needs.

Her team was available 24/7 and I cannot think of a single time where a question wasn’t addressed in less than 24hrs.

This is another review for Mattie's team recently purchased a house for me in Danville. Yes, Mattie got me a home in top rated school area only within 2 months in this hot seller's market after she sold my townhouse in Newark. Again she is very dedicated and professional. After talking with the listing agent, she provided me with her strategies and I followed her guidelines because she is trustworthy. Out of my expectation, she successfully negotiated down the price even I told her no need to negotiate because I just want to get this house no matter what!!! Without Mattie, I could not get this house lower than my expected price. She is so amazing and I really enjoy working with her and her team. We were referred to Mattie through a friend and just recently purchased our first home in the Bay Area.

We saw the home we really liked and Mattie were very responsive and professional to walk us through the whole buying process. We spent hours over the zoom call to go over the disclosures documents, considerations and the bidding process. Mattie navigated us through the various different seller documents (seller disclosures, inspection documents) to understand the underlying condition of the home, any expected repairs needed.

In addition, Mattie showed us an example how the bidding process work and how to make our offer attractive and competitive (higher down payment, 30 day closing, no contingency). She explained the risks of the no contingency and we worked closely with our lender to understand if our offer is within reason.

On the day of the offer being reviewed, Mattie were in constant communication with us. And we were surprised but very happy when we won the bid!

Buying a home is a stressful process, Mattie and her team made them selves available even late at night to assist with our questions and needs. As a result, it made buying the home less worrisome and let us focus on the bigger picture while her team handled the details and paperwork.

I met Mattie when I first came to the US about 4 years ago. When we bought our first brand new townhome back then, we forgot to register her with the developer as our selling agent. As a result, she didn't receive the commission she deserved.
Nonetheless, we have touched base with each other since then. When I thought about buying a single family house early this year, her name immediately came across my mind. She became my agent with the support from her entire team. With a hot real estate market like this, I never felt I was left alone as she had a team with several team members to support her clients. My house hunting story is quite a journey starting from May this year and still has not completed (now doing renovation). My husband and I have seen more than 200 open houses and lost quite a few bids until we finally were in contract in October. Mattie and her team provided significant helps during our house searching and bidding process including but not limited to: checking in person the houses we would like to bid on in order to provide better recommendations for bidding, walking us through various disclosure reports, suggesting a loan agent who was easy to work with and responding to all of the questions I had in the process. As soon as we were in contract in October, she and her team immediately helped to organize the closing calendar in tandem with our loan agent. In addition, they also helped to arrange fumigation, fungus treatment, and house inspection, etc. even before the transaction was closed. Now, the house closing process has completed, and I am going through another saga for renovation and renting my townhome out. Probably it's not hard to guess that she and her team have come to help again. I am super grateful for all the help she and her team have provided.

During my almost 20 years of experience in real estate investing, I have been very lucky to have known many good real estate agents. Mattie Wei and her team are the best. Her team works seamlessly and efficiently through remodelling, staging, marketing and closing. In the beginning, we were a little hesitant at Mattie’s recommendation to remodel our kitchen completely because the kitchen was built with very good material but out of fashion. I had such a struggle with my tenants during the Pandemic, and decided to sell my investment property. Although a seller stands a strong position in this extremely hot real estate market, investment property is in a different world, especially for multi-family homes. Mattie Wei was highly recommended to us by friends who I trusted a lot. When we thought about to put our house on the market, we were clueless about the process and overwhelmed with the complications. Mattie gave us a clear picture what to expect after our initial conversation.
She has a perfect listing system mastered from years of practice. As soon as we were ready, she immediately brought over the mover, professional cleaner, stager and photographer along with a detailed step by step selling plan. Everything was covered from big to small. We were very impressed with Mattie and her team. Since the beginning of COVID, they tirelessly helped us with house viewings. When we saw a house we liked on Zillow, we'd request for a showing. Mattie and her assistants would respond immediately and send us the PEAD right away. Usually we'd be scheduled for a viewing on the same day or the following day.

I just purchased my very first home with the help of Mattie and her team. Mattie & Team were recommended to me by a good friend of mine. From the very beginning, Mattie has been professional, helpful, honest, and informative. Being a first time homebuyer, I went into the process very nervous and with no knowledge, but with Mattie’s help and guidance, I was able to go through each step of the process. She was patient and explained the ins and outs of how to purchase a home. When we ran into questions or issues, Mattie handled it for me with such grace and professionalism, from the communication with the listing agent, to the lender, to the HOA, and to me. Even after Mattie handed me the keys to my home, she is willing to help answer any remaining questions I have, and to make sure my transition to my new home is as smooth as possible. For example, the heater in my new home is broken, so she scheduled for it to be fixed, and since I cannot be present to let the heater person in, she scheduled for one of her team members to monitor the process. she also went to my new home to make sure I had all the right keys, and reached out to HOA to find out for me where everything was located (i.e. mailbox, main water switch, etc).

Additionally, Mattie’s team was prompt in answering all my administrative questions, and sending me all the right documents, closing schedule, and made sure to send me a list of all utilities to make sure I properly transfer the payments and plans under my name.

I would not have been able to do this without Mattie and her team. I felt like a truly valued client, and was very well taken care of by Mattie’s team. I knew Mattie as a tennis friend. But when I saw her post about a property that seemingly matches my needs at the moment, I thought why not give her a try as my buyer agent, as I had a pretty good impression of her character.

It was a great decision since I didn't really know what I was looking for. Mattie was very knowledgeable, patient and resourceful. She and her capable team quickly helped me tour a few places and then she suggested I visit a new construction. It was certainly well above my budget but I am glad I took her suggestion. After touring the new home, I quickly recognized it is what I want and the price at the time was a good opportunity.

Another great decision I made because after I signed the contract, the price shot up almost 10%. On top of that, Mattie even negotiated a better price for me, without any effort from me. It is like you wake up in the morning and suddenly there is a great deal that you can see it is more than 10% below the market!

Really Appreciate Mattie's professional team for helping us get everything for selling our rental property done just within 1.5 months since the Tenant moving out. We cannot imaging this case could be closed so quick considering the tenant could not give us an accurate moving out date, which made us unable to work out a schedule for doing cleaning, inspection, staging, advertising, and etc., and it was about in the middle of Summer when the best time window was nearly closing. Everyone who has the experience of selling or buying houses would agree that it is very normal you would feel stressful during the whole process, especially when facing some uncertainties just like the scenario we were facing. But to our surprising, Mattie and her team could proactively reach out to the tenant for us and tried their best to work with the tenant professionally before the moving date could be fixed so they could get some possible preparation started during that period. Our house was in contract within 3.5 weeks after listing, and the escrow closed 15 days after! Mattie is exceptionally dedicated to her client and every transaction. She took care of all the details and hassles and left us to worry-free. During the selling process, my family took a 15 days vacation. When we came back we almost came to the end of the sale.
