On moving to California five years ago from Scottsdale, Arizona, our first order of business was to find a real estate agent. I asked several people at my synagogue to recommend a realtor to help us find a residence in the Corona Del Mar area of Newport Beach. Several folks suggested that Michelle London, a long-time member of the synagogue, would perfectly meet our need for a knowledgeable professional who could help us make the transition to our new home in Southern California. We accepted their recommendation. First, we asked Michelle to help us decide whether we should rent or buy a residence. We were fully aware that it would be in the agent’s financial interest to steer us in the direction of purchasing, Yet, Michelle pointed out that at our (senior) stage in life, renting in the very high-end real estate market of Corona Del Mar, was far more sensible than purchasing. Over the next several months, Michelle scoured the lists of available homes for an appropriate duplex. Although the rental market in the beach communities is very tight, Michelle uncovered several possibilities. Moreover, in spite of her office being located is in the southern section of Orange County, she was very willing to make the hour-long trip to Corona Del Mar to show the residence. Eventually, we found a duplex that perfectly met our needs. Four years have passed since we first met Michelle and I continue to have an active real estate relationship with her. Rental leases in our community are generally for only two years. Thus, it is only a matter of time when we will again be in need of Michelle’s services. In all of our interactions, I found Michelle to be very hard-working, attentive to the needs of the client, and very upbeat. I recommend her highly. B. Leshowitz
