Missy’s interest in real estate began early. She spent several summers working for a real estate investment company where projects ranged from analyzing investments and managing renovations to creating marketing materials for rental properties. For the last twenty years, she has served on the board of a privately held real estate company, which develops and manages residential and commercial properties in urban neighborhoods.
Missy has been a San Francisco real estate agent for almost 20 years and consistently ranks within the top ten agents in the city. Prior to being a founding agent of Compass San Francisco in 2016, Missy was the #1 producer at Hill & Company. She enjoys an exceptional reputation both with her clients and colleagues and is known for being hardworking, direct, and trustworthy. Her clients will tell you that she goes out of her way to identify and adjust to their needs. Service is the operative word.
Enthusiastic, competitive, and goal-oriented, Missy is a graduate of Princeton University, where she captained a national championship squash team and achieved first team All-American honors four times. She remains an active squash player at The University Club and plays in tournaments across the country. She brings that same exceptional level of performance and a winning mentality to her real estate practice.
Missy is married to Yvo Smit, and they have two daughters who attend the Katherine Delmar Burke School. Together they enjoy San Francisco's outdoor lifestyle and the city's restaurants.
