GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

One of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I've had with Albuquerque High has been figuring out where I fit in socially.

I am a 2024 graduate from ABQ High and I had a great experience. I was a 3.7 gpa student athlete and had so much support from teachers and other people working at the school. Although we did not always place well in games or have the best education in the state, I learned so much and had a great time being involved with my school.

The best part has need joining a bunch of clubs and sports. I made a lot of new friends. The worst is that the bathrooms are terrible and usually smell bad or are closed.

I maintain the schools and have been around the district for years. I was amazed how some teachers donate thousands of dollars out of pocket to buy machines and supplies for the students, great job AHS.
