My experience at JCHS was pretty nice, teacher always want to help you. The overall environment of the school pushed me to try harder in my classes and stay focused. This was a great school for me, since it allowed me to grow as a person as well as do better in my classes. This school defensively prepared me for college. It's also good to mention that in class there was little to no trouble. It is worth noting that they need to improve the cafeteria's food.

My teachers at John Champe High School have been nice, and the academics at the school are really good. It was also easy to make connections with other people.

The school focuses a lot on the experience of Black people and nobody else. As a Hispanic student, I do not feel recognized. During Black History month, there is a full celebration, as there should be. But what about Hispanic Heritage month, and AAPI heritage month? We should be celebrating everyone. I also don't always feel safe. But I love a lot about this school, too. The arts departments are wonderful but often go unrecognized and some of the staff are really awesome.
