North Polk is overall an above average school in which students largely make up the culture. Teachers are largely independent from one another which causes differences in classes within the same subject that may catch students off guard. I would like to see teachers communicate to one another to make sure students understand classes and see if one teacher may have lower test scores than another exclusively because of their teaching style.

North Polk was the best school that I went to. I moved around a lot but I ended up at North Polk and I am so glad that I did. North Polk is a great community and a great school. I will say though that the kids who did not like school, hated North Polk and I feel like administration always made it worse. I think that administration could work on being there for kids more than just discipling kids. Overall, it is an amazing school district.

I like that you know everyone and the teachers really care about the students. Even though it's a small school there should be more clubs, outreach and connect student with nearby schools with different clubs.

Mom of 2 students..have always had good experiences dealing with all the staff even when handling concerns. Who ever said the music program was declining clear have no idea what they are talking about..as a music family north polk is the best.. the amount of time and effort staff makes for the kids...

We have three kiddos at three different buildings within the North Polk district. From elementary on up the teachers and staff have been nothing short of supportive and amazing! We have no complaints and couldn’t be more proud to be part of such a great district and community!
