This private elementary and middle school is located on W. Mable Street, just southwest of the I-5 freeway. Fairmont - Historic Anaheim Campus is one of five Fairmont Private School campuses located across Orange County. The Historic Anaheim Campus was the original Fairmont campus, serving approximately 450 students, from preschool through the eighth grade.
Fairmont - Historic Anaheim Campus is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the IB Primary Years Programme for elementary students and the IB Middle Years Programme for students in grades six through eight. The IB curriculum places an emphasis on the humanities and philosophy, providing a uniquely international perspective. Active learning is favored over memorization in order to prepare students to succeed academically and develop personally while becoming good citizens of the world.
Beyond its core curriculum, the elementary program at Fairmont - Historic Anaheim Campus includes such offerings as STEM lab and Spanish. The middle school curriculum includes computer and technology, robotics and debate.
Students at Fairmont are encouraged to participate in athletics, and the Historic Anaheim Campus offers sports such as soccer, flag football, volleyball and more. Arts instruction includes classes in music, the visual arts and drama. There is a jazz/pop band and middle school students have an opportunity to engage in digital media classes.
