Montessori House of Children is a very small, private Montessori school that serves elementary and middle school-aged children from kindergarten through the eighth grade. The school is located on Magnolia Avenue in the heart of West Anaheim and serves only about 20 students across all grade levels. There are two full time teachers at the school.
There are more than 3,000 Montessori schools across the United States. As with all Montessori schools, the Montessori House of Children places a specific emphasis on students engaging in hands-on, active learning. Students across grade levels are encouraged to explore activities that specifically interest them in order to help them build a strong sense of intellectual curiosity.
In addition to the core curriculum, students can engage in a wide variety of additional curricular and extracurricular activities including music, dance, art and theater. Students also have the opportunity to take part in engaging field trips and science experiments or to study languages and much more.
