Orangeview Junior High School is a public middle school located on the western border of West Anaheim near Cypress College. The school is part of the Anaheim Union High School District and serves close to 900 students in seventh and eighth grades, maintaining a student-to-teacher ratio of 22-to-1. In addition to its core academic offerings, Orangeview Junior High School offers a number of additional programs, clubs and athletics for students. Orangeview is the only junior high school to offer the Puente program, a highly-respected program that seeking to improve the college-going rate for students typically underrepresented in colleges and universities. Orangeview has also been awarded the Civic Learning Award of Merit and was named a 2020 California Democracy School. Orangeview is an active participant in the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program that is designed to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success.

I feel that Orangeview is A big emotional rollercoaster One day the students can be making fun of you because you fell the next they can be converting you because you're sad. I feel the campuses could be safer if they had better menace and exterminators because the have black widows on campuses and they also have huge ditches in the ground so if you fall off the walkway on a rainy day you are going to be drenched.

It was kinda bad ngl, the food was goated tho, the teachers are aight, some of them are nice and the others not so much.still don't recommend this school,don't bring ur kids here.

My son attended another jr high in this district for all of 7th and most of 8th grade. He did not like that other school. After transferring here, the teachers were easier to get a hold of. The office and staff were amazing and kind. The band teacher and band program were welcoming. I could not be h...

Orangeview’s JHS Band has been such a great opportunity for my son Andrew. He is in 7th grade and has learned so much very quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all the instruments come together.
