GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers are amazing and there are many business and art opportunities. There is a choice of 4 language programs and foreign exchange students every year. The students are all the same though, not much diversity. The food is also not amazing, but great academics.

Lake Shore has a tight knit community. Most students and teachers at the school are acceptable and non-judgmental, and it doesn't have a lot of bullying compared to other schools. I wish the school was more concerned for the safety of its students when it comes to the daily commute. I wish they offered more electives

Their is a diverse group of clubs at Lake Shore, but there's only one that I joined and it wan't until this year (my junior year) which is Literary Club. I do believe that a lot of people partake in clubs, and that the ones who are in the clubs love and look forward to them. Each club has at least one faculty adviser who takes a lot of interest of the club they are involved in. While everyone may not have be in a club in school, I'd say there's a club in school that would be able to fit each student whether they know it or not.

This is one of the best school districts in Western New York. I graduated from there and was 100% prepared for college and life. It offers more advanced placement classes and activities for kids to do compared to all other public and private schools around it. Your child is never a number there and...
