Established in 1967, Beachy Avenue Elementary is a public school in the Los Angeles Unified School District located at 9757 Beachy Avenue in Arleta. The school has 456 enrolled students and serves pre-kindergarten through fifth grade in the cities of Arleta, Panorama City, and Pacoima. Beachy Avenue Elementary takes great pride in their integrative academic approach, which is geared towards a focus of educating the “whole child.” There is a focus of body, mind, and spirit, and each student is challenged to their own personal level of achievement while also taking into account emotional development and social environment. The school takes pride in its curriculum, which focuses on computer lab, music, art, and differentiated instruction through the Early Language and Literacy Program. There is an emphasis on literacy and nurturing each child’s ability to develop their reading level. Visual Arts and Vocal Music classes are also available. Beachy Elementary promotes strong moral character in its young people and encourages a persistent mindset in overcoming academic challenges and achieving high levels of excellence. The school also features a program for Autistic students, as well as a valuable Emotional Disturbance program which is designed to support students who are struggling to build or maintain relationships.

The new principal doesn't return my calls, which is not a good sign. The teachers are nice most of the time.

Unfortunately I changed my daughter from strathern elementary which was a great school to beachy elementary it was the worse decision I had made. I turned in transcripts and everything.
