It's a wonderful school with a new, modern building and a diverse student body. They place great importance on sports activities; the teams are very successful, and the band is excellent—they often win state championships. Overall, we are very satisfied with the school.

Independence High School is overall an okay school. The school focuses on extracurriculars, rather than education, which is something I would fix.

It's a fairly large school so there's a lot of different people and experiences to be had. Overall I've had positive experiences with the majority of my teachers which I'm thankful for. I've had a couple negative experiences but definitely more positive experiences. Most of the teachers and counselors are kind and helpful and I don't think there's much else I could ask for.
