I enjoyed my experience at Avondale Highschool. I was exposed to a lot of new experiences and I was able to grow and learn. However, several classes that I was in progress at a slow pace and I did not have to work an over amount to achieve good grades. At the same time, I was able to take several AP classes to better prepare me for college. The teachers are nice and there is a great amount of diversity which is an added bonus. Overall, it was a great place for me to have my high school education but I wish there would have been more challenges to prepare me for college.

The teachers are burnt out from no back support of administration and rarely a kid that has a desire to lea...

I had a difficult time following my children’s progress and often felt there was a lack of communication between their new teaching system (standard based grading) and the parents.
