The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My Butler high school experience overall was amazing I met new friends, the teachers helped me with my work when needed, gave students take to work on missing work or extra credit. My little sister is going there now and I know she will have an amazing time and many opportunities

Butler high school is the best high school in Richmond county. You have teachers here who go out their way to make sure you're on the right track. The school Counselors go above to help you apply for scholarships, colleges, put you on the track to succeed. I'm glad I spent my four years here.

It is a alight school, majority of the students are bad (with a small minority being cool). The teachers are great and i feel bad they have to deal with the students.
