GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have enjoyed being a student at GL. Throughout my time at GL I have been able to make a lot of friends, take a lot of different classes, and participate in a wide range of clubs/activities.

As a senior at GL, I can say that I have enjoyed my experience there all four years, even during my year affected by COVID.

Governor Livingston is an average school, the diversity is not great. Some of the teachers are very rude. Teachers tend to assign homework at 10 pm due the next morning.

I was told before I even started the school year that I would be bullied, I have physical and mental health issues and they have gone out of their way to make it so I cannot graduate. This school has ruined my entire future.

I graduated Governor Livingston High School and consider myself very fortunate. It is really a top rate public school, sending many of its students to great universities and colleges across the country.
