GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Loved my teachers but a terrible school overall. Constant conflict between students. Plus the occasional white kids who think they have come to "save" our academic standings. Classes are either extremely easy to pass (regular courses) or extremely difficult (AP); no inbetween. I have really liked my experience though in sports and programs introduced to me by the school. I have met some of the closest people to me because of it.

Overall, being a student at English High School has given me tons of opportunities and experience in many different fields: whether in college readiness programs, budgeting workshops, or internship counseling.

After school programs are great! Love this school. There is respect between all students and teachers. They have put more discipline and effort to the school. :)
