Millennium Brooklyn High School is a wonderful place where the teachers are willing to learn as much from you as you're learning from them. Many teachers are nice, have patience and will show you how to solve problems. Teachers focus on teaching students how to think instead of how to pass a test. I admire all the faculty in my school for how punctual and committed they are for being in school for as long as they can. The bathroom sometimes smells bad and needs a bit of fixing, that's it.

There's lots of ups and downs. The neighborhood itself is very nice, but the school is small and surrounded by other schools. Academically it's very good, it can be competitive between students though. You are given college support, but there are only 2 counselors so that can be challenging if you need extra college support

Generally, MBHS has been a great experience. Most of the teachers are helpful and supportive of their students. However, I find the administration team to be a bit lackluster because although they are always willing to listen to students, they rarely had the whole school interact with the admins in a group and participate and have fun together. There isn't much of a budget for most things in our school so I questioned where all of our budget went.

My daughter is a freshman and loves this school. Challenging academics, small class sizes, caring educators, friendly students and involved parents in a warm environment. We couldn't be more happy.

Millennium Brooklyn High School is an outstanding high school where students with autistic spectrum disorders are integrated into classroom settings and learn alongside their peers. The school effectively uses an inclusion model in a large number of their classrooms. Teachers are enthusiastic and mo...

I love that there is one advisor for the whole high school experience. I love that it's not a large school. The students gain from the one on one attention. It's impossible to not succeed because of the close teacher contact with parents and students.
