Founded in 2017, this zoned elementary school serves Grades pre-K to 5, and shares a building with Middle School 890. The school’s most recent enrollment of just over 200 enables each student to receive adequate attention, which many parents praise. From basic topics to enrichment programs, the school offers a variety of opportunities for young children to explore and learn confidently. Like all other New York City Public Schools, 889's students are offered free breakfasts, lunches and after-school meals.
