GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

You can do good in this school depending on how open you are about your learning and if you choose to take it serious.

My experience in Cherokee High School has been beyond excellent. I have been given opportunities that other schools don't have like aviation, art, and AP classes. I have found it easy to reach out and get help from the administrators and teachers. Although the facilities aren't the best, the education I have received has been great. Overall Cherokee High School isn't horrible, like all else it has its pros and cons but, in my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons.

Basically they are building a new school and it's going to be done in a few years so the school we have now is just a pile of garbage and it is kept in terrible condition but it's usually not the janitors fault because the students in the school are all just a bunch of idiots that for some reason keep coming back to school everyday and waste their time by doing absolutely nothing all day except smoke weed or vape in the bathroom.

My children really like/liked cherokee high school. It’s the teachers there that make the difference. It’s diverse and more like the real world. It is next to a water treatment plant so it can get smelly there. To address the overcrowding they expanded the high school into an elementary building tha...

This school is the worst school I have ever seen or gone too. The amount of work does not let me spend time with my friends or family outside of school. The school is right by a waste plant which makes it smell worse than any other part of Canton, and everyone here is never open to newcomers. I have...
