Highcroft’s mascot, Rosie the Redhawk, says Highcroft Ridge is “A great place to grow.” This school motto guides academics and activities at Highcroft, where the core values of respect, ownership, safety, and excellence are highly regarded.
Students who demonstrate these values are recognized with R.O.S.E. letters and social media congratulations. Students are encouraged to weave these practices into all they do. At Highcroft, that might include participating in a peer mentoring program, being part of classroom performances, or learning to play the violin.
These unique opportunities supplement an academic program that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to take learning to the next level. Teachers integrate technology into many areas of the curriculum, working with online student devices, smartboards, and document cameras.
Outside of the classroom, Highcroft school and community events provide creative outlets and skill-building opportunities. Events include talent share, spirit days, kickball games, and country western day.
For parents, Highcroft keeps lines of communication open with weekly newsletters from the principal and classroom teachers, monthly school newsletters, and frequent social media posts. Parents can also view assignments and follow student progress on Infinite Campus. And for those who need before and after school care, Highcroft offers Adventure Club, which provides homework time and enrichment activities for students.
