The small community allows students to build life long bonds with each other. However, I do feel as if the teachers lack proper training both academically, culturally. The environment definitely isn't for everyone.

If your parent is not a teacher or staff at Banner, you are an outsider and they let you know it. You are not afforded the same advantages that the "teachers kids" are afforded. Even in sports, you get noticeably less playing time, awards, recognition, etc. If a non-teacher kid excels, they are knocked down in some manner. Overall, lots of favoritism, they claim to be diverse, but discriminate, and above all a very sexist environment.

Banner offers solid academics, has a diverse population with dedicated teachers and staff and fosters a Christian education that never leaves the students. They are growing and looking forward to having a new building
