GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My son is attending here for 7th grade in their Academic Center. He left his prior school due to not having a math teacher the entire school year. So here I look forward to a push for academics

Hey, I graduated in 1963. I bet things have changed a little since, haven't they? So anything I say will be irrelevant.

Decent foundation but a lot of distractions around. Based off my experience, I think that there could be improved policies and better enforcers put in place. Also, more professionalism within administration.

The school has an advanced middle school, similar to Whitney Young and other top ranked Chicago schools. This really helps students transition for high school, due to taking courses taught by specialists in each subject, rather than a general 7th or 8th grade teacher. The school also offers an Inter...

After his father picked him up he was taken to the hospital where he was admitted for a hip fracture. I requested a meetin...

She locks down educational resources from students just because she feels like it. She is NOT AN EDUCATIONAL...

The best school on the Southside! I graduated from Morgan Park in 1998 and I had the greatest high school experience from 94-98. I wouldn't change anything about them.
