GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of my experience are the teachers and the staff. They have prepared me for college and to succeed. The worst part of my experience have been the head football coach and the freshman basketball coach.

At Anderson the staff is very kind and willing to help with anything. They are kind and patient when it comes to listening to problems and working with you so you can succeed. They make sure to get feedback for parents and children so they can do the best to support everyone. The only thing I would want to see improved is the resources for mental health. It's something that impacts a lot of high school students and I would love to see resources to benefit the kids who are struggling and other might not know it.

I do cheer, student gov, and key club. The best part of my time at Anderson was freshman year. I just had so much fun coming in and doing cheer. It was really fun and I had an amazing group of friends. I feel like my worst year will have to be sophmore year. I was just not in my right mindset. I didn't have many friends, and that caused me to become distant from others, which affected me negatively. Starting junior year I have been doing amazing. I have a true group of friends and I adore everything this year.

Everything feels bitter. Whenever I walk in the hallways from class to class it feels like my brain is floating back and forth. It is as though I am in a factory where I am made only to mechanically think

This was a great school for my son. All of the teachers were more than helpful and accomodating with my son's needs. My son was in a 504 for learning purposes and they handled it the most effectively we could have asked for. He had wonderful teachers and counselors making this possible. I think it's...

Anderson has a lot of flaws that they mask with their achievements. My sister was bullied throughout her time there and the school did nothing to help her. They are more concerned about families paying “fees” and if not paid they could not graduate. I understand that school funds are not close to wh...

Anderson High School is an amazing experience from the first day on campus as a freshman to the final day as a senior. The principal and staff are amazing and kind, and the teachers are amazing. The students are welcoming and they have so many clubs and activities that it’s virtually impossible not...
