GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

my time at ohhs was filled with many ups and downs. if you are different from the students you are in class with, they will not attempt to connect with you. i found that taking difficult classes allowed me to fit in more. there is currently an initiative by admin to show students that they are cared for and belong at the school. admin is top heavy, and some seem a little unnecessary considering the need for upgrades around the building. there is a drastic imbalance between the funding for athletics and the funding for building upgrades, new teachers to accommodate large class sizes, and new textbooks to accommodate a changing curriculum. ohhs will provide you with an education that prepares you for college, but only if you put in the effort to work for it.

Oak hills has for me been a place us both joy and hate. It ranges from teachers who truly care about their students and their future and put everything into seeing them be successful, to teachers who just show up to get paid and grade our work horribly and don't give feedback on how to fix it. For the most part it's full of those teachers who care though, who not only are doing to the job for the pay but are doing it so WE can be successful. The worst part of oak hills is the councilors who aren't really helpful at all with your life and kind of just tell you to figure it out and don't listen

Both of my kids graduated from here and I could not be more pleased. There are so many clubs and activities that your student is sure to find some way to get involved. Though I was initially concerned about how large it is, I could tell that each teacher truly cared about my kids. The taxpayers in t...

Sorry I moved here so far. Should have stayed in my other state or over seas in private school. Those parents who have lived here all their lives are blind to what other schools can offer. I have experience with 7 other high schools, both public and private and this is one of the bottom schools in my...
