GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

If you have any questions you can always ask. Food not so good but it's edible. I don't do sports but they are all about their sports teams.

Chilton Co High School has changed a bit since I graduated, but as I remember my experience resources to prepare students for life post-graduation were limited, and support and from Faculty and Staff was hard to come by.

Chilton County High School has been my school for majority of my life. I transferred due to parents working for other school systems. The best thing that this school has to offer would be its Extracurricular activities, chances to apply for college with little to no cost out of pocket, and being able to join the army. But I dislike how majority of the information needed to apply for scholarships and even a lot of clubs too require you to be an upper class man. I don't like how they give all these opportunities to mostly seniors and there are juniors, including myself, that want to prepare to go to college with that same opportunity without the wait. Us juniors have to find our own scholarships or score high enough on state or nationwide tests just to be able to have those opportunities. I would like for both juniors and seniors to have the same chances to earn scholarships and not have to wait until we're seniors trying to prepare for college.

It is an extremely safe place for kids to go to school and learn. In my graduating class we had a total of ov...

I graduated from CCHS and I now unfortunately for my children live in another state. This shcool has probably the best teachers there are. I wish all schools had teachers that cared as much.
