GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall great experience. Teachers were fantastic, always ready to help and made sure everyone understood the material before moving on. Lots of electives, clubs, and sports to choose from depending on your interests. The food was pretty good especially after the major cafeteria renovation.

I am currently a Senior at the High School. The administration are very kind and helpful. The teachers are great and I feel like its easy to connect with the teachers there. There are many clubs that Clifton High offers so every student gets a chance to find something they are interested in. Clifton high has a great community of students. The students are always willing to help. Clifton high has guidance counselors that help from your first day of High School. Although I feel like the counselors can do a little more with getting the seniors prepared with colleges. They are great with helping you apply to colleges and getting your FAFSA started but they don't tell you about of different scholarships opportunities. For example the NJSTARS scholarship. I was not told about this scholarship even though I was eligible for it

Strong community at this school - but it is clear families need to be more involved and disciplinary action needs to be more consistent to prevent poor school behavior.

It's the best public school in the area. My sons grades completely turned around when we moved to Clifton and he was even able to get a partial scholarship to college.

So my family and I moved to Clifton, New Jersey and I transferred to Clifton High School and I thought it was gonna be better but it wa...

In the four years i have been in this school i have dealt with disrespectful teachers who talk bad about students behind their back infront of other students and teachers. I have dealt with a teachet that refused to give me the grade i deserved (last year) on a projec...
