The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Stivers School For the Arts is a performing arts school. There's many magnets that you can audition to get into which is very interesting because not only do you become good at it but your grades stay on top due to all the good teachers that are there to teach you certain subjects. It is an outstanding school to be apart of.

I have enjoyed my time at Stivers School for the Arts. I am in the creative writing magnet and I have played varsity sports for the high school. The teachers are all very well qualified and educated. There are a lot of opportunities here for the arts as it is an art school but also academics.

funding towards certain areas of study is notably biased towards the visual arts program, other than that the school is pretty nice

10/10! I really like it at Stivers, the teachers try to help you in any way you can. Their teaching methods work and I've actually learned stuff! I'm glad that as a Creative Writer and Visual Artist at the school (going into 8th grade this year!), I get to excel at what I love. And it's really good...

I’ve had two kids graduate from Stivers and one is a freshman now. I couldn’t ask for a better public school for my kids to attend. The faculty truly cares about getting through to the kids and helping them be successful in acedemics and their art magnet. The whole school is a nurturing environment...

My daughter loves arts and the school. They provide unique opportunities that are not available in other schools.
