The 2020 school year was the most challenging by far because of district wide school closures and my children having to learn from home. Without the support of the wonderful Cory Elementary staff and community I don't think we would have persevered. Even with months of online learning and ongoing changes my children still thrived. My children are now beyond thrilled to be back in the classroom where they belong and love the in-person collaboration with their peers and teachers. Cory Elementary is a wonderful neighborhood elementary experience for kids from academics to peer relationships.

Our kid had a wonderful Gr.1 and chose to stay at Cory for Gr.2 instead of going to a private school. This is a very well-funded school by generous parents and local businesses. Teachers use shaming as a tactic for discipline, and wonder why they don’t positive responses or results from the students. Sadly, this comes most often with the teachers with 20+ years of experience. It may have been acceptable 20 years ago, but not when we know so much more about child development...

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this school and totally disagree with any negative comments.
