GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of my experience at CSArts has been the community within the school. I always feel safe and like we are all one unit. I also like that If I need anything I have people that I can talk to and easily reach. I also appreciate the college night week that they provide for the students and parents. I find that it allows me to be more prepared for college and planning for the future. Something I would like to see change is the different environments within different classes during office hours. I feel like some rooms should be for hanging out and some should be for studying because it can be hard to study in a loud environment. Especially if they had a schedule that was accessible for the whole school. Something else that I appreciate about CSArts is the class sizes. The ratio is usually 30-38 students to 1 teacher. This means that there is more time for individual attention for students.

California School of the Arts-San Gabriel Valley has been a blessing for our daughter. This school has helped her advance her old skills and try so many new ones. The student body is, in general, extremely supportive of one another and teachers always seem to put that extra energy into the students whenever it's needed.

I have an in coming 9th grader but i have a CsArts alumni class of 2021. Had a great experience. My oldest daughter academically excelled and her conservatory was Visual Artist. She continued her education through CsArts partnership with Citrus College and received her Associates. She now attends a University working on her Bachelor's she still carries with her the knowledge provided by CsArts. With my incoming 9th grader i hope my 9th grader can also excel academically and finds her passion from the conservatories that CsArts caters to our students. There's no other school as great as CsArts that really has the best interesr in our kids future.

Recently graduated from this school. Admin is all talk about the 5 pillars but completely money over morals. They punish students for things explicitly allowed by the handbook, treat students suspected of having drugs like criminals. They ignore claims of sexual assault from students (especially if...

Student here. This school claims to care about neurodivergent children but never removes problematic teachers. They change the grading system every year so it’s super inconsistent and hard to follow, causing many children to struggle. They do nothing about discrimination and sexual harassment on cam...
