This school is led by an amazing principal, Mr. Rotosky, and our daughter has had a wonderful first year at Southwest. The dual language program is fantastic, her teacher Ms. Smith was kind and sweet to our little girl, and we are overall very happy with the culture of this school. It is a happy and nurturing place.

This school is a community. There are so many incredible teachers (and students ) here. I have had (3) students here for the last 6 years. One in regular classes and 2 in the Spanish immersion program. I always feel welcomed in this place. Like it is truly a place you can watch your children grow.

This school is family oriented. Many staff have children or grandchildren who attend the school. Southwest has a very active PTA which provides grants to enrich the classrooms.
