Mariner itself is great, but the students are what make it not the best. Admin and staff need to enforce better rules to keep the students from vaping and smoking in the bathrooms. Students don't care about their acidemics at Mariner anymore. There are more kids barly passing their classes rather than passing woth a B. Overall, something needs to be done to get the students more engaged and want to get to class.

I loved the community of people and teachers there. We were all just trying our best to succeed and have fun. But the school itself did not fund things very kindly towards the students or staff, leading to our teachers with big hearts to buy us things for trips or class out of their own pocket.

I think overall the school was great, and it also offered great things, I just wished they'd teach more stuff on like independent living and other adult things so that I'm able to go into the adult world and be prepared for it.

Never had a real issue at this school as a skinny nerdy white boy, never had any issues with bullies, always felt pretty safe. Loved my teachers, they welcomed open discussion and all viewpoints, they really seemed to *want* you to succeed
