I attended this school from 4th grade-graduation. The students there are encouraged to be very cookie cutter/clone like, so it is very easy to feel alienated or different. I don't recommend sending your child here for that reason. I still struggle with my self-esteem at almost 30 years old, and think I would have developed much better with a more diverse and well-rounded group of kids who didn't make me feel ostracized. The teachers also had the same energy. One example is there was a book club with one of the English teachers my senior year, but it was invite only, so only the most popular/her favorite students got to participate. My sibling and I were very obviously being abused and neglected at home, and the school did nothing to help us, even when they knew my brother was kicked out and homeless his senior year. The only thing I am grateful for was the school lunch because I would have starved to death without it.

The academic experiences are decent as a variety of classes are offered to prepare you for college. Teachers were always willing to help but didn't know their curriculum all the time. The lack of students attending impacts the quality of competitive sports. Also, the administration has not created the best environment for both staff and students.

My experience has been great at St Edmond it has small classes so they fit everything to your needs. Lots of great opportunities here.

The school had a mission statement saying" where values and academics meet". They should go back to it. Academics are restricted. Poor class offerings due to financial restraints and low student population. The school has not had a national merit finalist for years. An indication of poor performance...

This school is terrible. The administration lacks function, the guidance counselors are jokes, and mental health is nonexistent along the students that aren't rich, white, popular, or don't have influential parents in the school. The principal only cares about the test scores, and really doesn't car...

Great school for academics and college preparation. Poor school for following through with "said" values, as principle ignores much of the bullying that goes on among students and coworkers. She would rather have a physician's child who bullies at the school, as opposed to a child from a middle clas...

Very good teachers and learning environment. The school board seems to very engaged and the staff are very proactive.
