GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of my experience are meeting new people that I would have never met if I never came to Freehold High School. I enjoy being in the Culinary Arts program here because it is a time to get out of a desk and cook something for others and it gives students a chance to work in a restaurant and earn money to pay for many different trips like apple picking or a hockey game. The worst part of my school experience is that the school building is so old that sometimes it feels like the building is going to fall apart. Also, the bathroom smells like smoke every single day because of the vaping problem with teenagers.

It's a great school, with an incredibly diverse student body, amazing teachers, barely any bullying or harassment, and many opportunities to improve academically. The teachers are helpful, kind, understanding and get students interested in whatever they're teaching.

In the past year, I have had a great time as a student at Freehold Borough High School! I am currently enrolled in the Computer Science magnet program, and I have made a bunch of friends! Since I am in the program, Freehold Borough High School is not my home school, so I had to adjust to a new school where I knew virtually nobody. The best parts of the school are the diversity, the students, the teachers, and the school spirit! The only downside of this year was that I had to make new friends. I don't think anything at school needs to change because I like it just the way it is! Otherwise, I had a great school year, and I can't wait to start my sophomore year!

This school sucks. There are teachers who feel that it's ok to talk about other students behind there back in front of there classmates. Also, culinary sucks.

As a substitute teacher, I can tell you the student body and faculty here are great. This is a very friendly and warm school, with very kind students. I deal with nearly all students in the school at a variety of academic levels. Any student can be successful here if the effort is made, and one woul...

I'm a freshman at the Boro but I'm moving in June and I'm transferring to Pemberton Township High School. Overall, this school is excellent. The teachers are very nice and teach too well, and the other students are caring and very friendly.
