GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school has a good academics program and has many support systems in place for those who need it. Some sports programs, however, are given more funds and support to than others

My experience at this school is amazing. I have joined almost all the aspects of the school in performing arts to regular and AP classes. The academic side is very good from the teachers wanting to help the students to the student to teacher interaction. The athletic side is also very competitive here. Since we are a D1 school we face many hard challenges within all the sports we participate in. The worst parts are most likely the students not caring so much for the campus. People leaving trash and destroying this school. What Clovis west can improve on is the sport facilities for all the sports

Clovis West offers a variety of sports, clubs, and activities for all student groups. There is much support from teachers, counselors, and coaches to ensure that students get the attention and support needed to excel in and out of the classroom.

The teachers are top notch and the education is on par with a private school. The academics are challenging and definitely prepares kids for coll...

Clovis West High School is a very competitive school, but always rewards those who dedicate themselves instead of giving up. The teachers here are very characteristic. Sometimes that can be a bad thing, but is mostly a good thing. Athletics is not forced upon students, and in no way are students "di...

My child recently started at Clovis West. We are from another country originally and before Clovis West she attended a school in San Francisco for a few months. We are so impressed with Clovis West. The teachers and students are very friendly and helpful. Many people warned us saying that your child...
