The teachers were what made Reservoir High School such a unique and wonderful high school. Every teacher cares and teaches to the best of their ability. The arts, music, and science departments are all amazing and have a wealth of resources and school provided programs and materials.

Best parts of high school are the friendships I've built, being a caption of the varsity cheer squad and of the school events I was got to attend. The worst parts were my whole freshman year in covid, exams and test, out growing certain friends, and social drama. If I could change anything I think it would be to have a more flexible curriculum that would allow students to choose course based on the major they will choose in college.

Would love to see more funding going to the arts. We have to have fundraisers just to raise money for the music department to be able to buy sheet music for all of the students.

Current junior here, reservoir has great teachers. I love almost every single one of my teachers. However, the work load is crazy high. My child was well prepared to succeed at UMD College Park. She was was accepted at six other schools, and offered a place in the honors program. She took almost all GT as well as nine APs.
