GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at GHS has been great all four years. It is a small school so students are able to build relationships with teachers and classmates easily. Something I would like to see change at my school would be more assemblies. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has affected a great deal, I would like to have had more assemblies and school functions as a student.

Small town school with big hearts and interactive studies. Football is always in season and girls baskeball. Go Tigers.

The teachers are very excellent people who want to not only help you succeed but prepare you for after graduation. It is a small school, so you know everyone, and you are able to be more personal with the staff and other classmates. One thing I would like to see changed is more diverse classes, a lot of electives are focused on math and science, seeing classes aimed at students interested more in humanities or arts would be nice.
