GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Some of my best experiences have been with the teachers as many of them I feel I could trust with my life. My worst experience is probably with the shifting rules with our changing administration. For prom rules got added that made us unable to leave after we enter which I was not happy with.

I absolutely love going to SPHS. It is a relatively small school and you can tell by the way the staff makes it a point to know everyone and treat you like you are family. At SP we offer a wide variety of extracurriculars and sports as well as plenty of agriculture classes. As an agricultural kid myself I have found SP to be the best environment for me to learn about how to implement my favorite subject, Biology into a career in agriculture. With our amazing aquaponics lab we are able to do so many fun labs and have so many amazing experiences. There is nothing better then staying in the Eagles' Nest, I am so glad to be apart of the family.

South Putnam is a very small rural school, and that means the community is very tight-knit. A fantastic experience. However, it also means that you don't have all of the opportunities that a big school would have. For example, the arts and smaller sports like golf are forced to take a backseat to the school's main priorities.
