GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Madison County High School is a small and welcoming school. With it only being a 4A school, it's easy to come across new friends, talk to people and staff comfortably, and to participate in activities. Madison county is also small enough that you become familiar with everyone, seeing everyone's face at least once. A downside to Madison County is that it does not get funded very much.. it is older and some groups sometimes struggle to raise money.

I feel as Madison county high school is the best place for education but not for communication.

This is a great school in a great small, but growing community. The teachers are usually easy to communicate with, the school staff members are very helpful when I've needed them, and both seem to truly care about the overall success of the students.

Why is it when people of color fail it is someone else's fault? We have had no issues and our children really enjoy the atmosphere.
