GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, my experience at Hilbert High School has been positive. I am very involved in various activities, which I believe contributes to my enjoyment of being here. However, some areas could be improved, such as food options, college readiness programs, and class difficulty. I think Hilbert should offer more Advanced Placement (AP) classes, as this would lead to better preparation for college.

Great school. Great opportunity for sports. Good atmosphere and Student to teacher ratio. Nice to have small class size.

Hilbert High School was very good at academically preparing students for college or the workforce. However, they were not very diverse or progressive. Some staff were excellent at caring for the students and teaching not what to think, but how to think. Others were not as involved. I would like to see the attitude around learning change from competitive to motivational.
