Great school. They call the students "scholars" and focus on collaboration. Lots of group and project based work across all the grades. The STEAM lab is our scholars favorite. Flight simulators, programmable robots, drones, the kids really take the lead and get to explore topics they are interested in.

Would not recommend. There aren't many clubs or activities. The PTA/PTO is non-existent because most of the staff kids attend the school. There are cliques and when you raise concerns you will be black-listed. The staff write their own reviews and don't bother the admin or board of directors who hav...

Two thumbs down. Imho this school has the worst leadership. My child doesn't learn anything and the kids seemed bored. When we brought this to the charter school leadership we were retaliated against. Gross oversight of tax payer dollars and unethical staff. Do not recommend.

Hillsboro Charter Academy looks at the whole student. They make learning fun! They have incredibly engaged staff that truly care about each child. Your child will want to go to school in the morning.
