Across from Patton Park, on the south side of Jacksonville, Florida, is a school with an academic mission that prepares young locals to serve and change the world since 1997. Providence School is a faith-based private school with long-standing ties to the community. Affiliated with the New Life Christian Fellowship, the school sits on a 64-acre campus. The school fosters a learning environment for prekindergarten through high school. It challenges its high school students with a college preparatory curriculum. Providence's robust athletics department is best known for its talent and diverse sporting options. The private school boasts several regional and state championships over the years. National sports organizations, like ESPN RISE, have previously recognized Providence's athletic programs. At Providence, all pupils are motivated to explore creative pursuits through a comprehensive fine arts curriculum. Over 12 years, students will progressively build visual and performing arts skills while participating in competitions and art exhibitions. The Portfolio Program helps enrolled artists develop practical techniques while earning college credit and scholarship assistance. Providence School sits on Hodges Boulevard in the residential Golden Glades community.

Providence is a Christian school where God is first. Their academics are extremely good, and the teachers genuinely care about everyone. I am personally the captain of the robotics team, and I can confidently say that we have no lack of resources. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is considering it.

It's okay, the campus is very nice and many of the techers are nice as well. There are many classes to choose from with most of the teachers wanting to help you do your best in the class. There are many extracurricular activities to choose from as well as a few art and band classes.

Racism is rampant. Everyone gets straight A’s all you have to do is email a teacher. Minimal AP courses available. Save your money and go to a magnet public school.

My son graduated from Providence School of Jacksonville. We have had an exceptional experience with the teaching staff, counselors and administration. My son is in his second of college and is carrying a 20+ hour credit load each semester. He has been prepared to succeed by Providence. More importan...

The school is way too cliquey and almost every students cheats on assignments. The school also has rules set in place that are too strict and honestly unne...
